I can’t see 10 feet in front of me. Maybe it was only a fantasy. Only a shell of what I thought it once was. The sunset left me in the dark. It left me cold, blind, and my head spinning. With the sky falling and the world jamming. But, my friend, I have learned to bow down. To caress God's face once again. Only then can you look up and see the stars.
Friend, let us not forget where we came from. Just as Hagar, the angel of the Lord found us running. Running from time. Running from pain. Running in life’s endless game. We were just waiting for it all to be over. “Where have you come from? Where are you going?” It echoes through my mind.
Amidst the turmoil of life’s busy race; I kiss the sun and seek His holy embrace. When darkness and the bitter cold comes, know you labor not in vain, friend. With toil we strive towards a dream. Knowing that one day, together, we will see the sunrise.
